O R D E R:
In the references read above, the said Associations have represented to the Hon’ble Chief
Minister, for deduction of One Day’s Basic Pay to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund towards the
rehabilitation of victims of Flood affected areas in A.P and requested the Government for issue of
necessary orders for the deductions from the salary of October 2009 payable in the month of
November 2009.
2. Accordingly, all Departments of Secretariat, all the Heads of Departments, District
Collectors and all Drawing and Disbursing Officers and all Pension Disbursing Officers in the
State are hereby directed to deduct one day’s basic pay from the salary of employees of State
Government, Grant-in –Aid Institutions and others who are paid under salary head and one day
basic pension from the pensioners towards contribution to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund from
the salary/pension of October, 2009 payable in the month of November, 2009 towards Chief
Ministers’ Relief Fund for rehabilitation of victims of the Flood affected areas. In respect of
Grant-in-aid Institutions lump-sum deductions shall be made wherever individual pay particulars
are not furnished.
3. The amount so deducted shall be credited to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund under the
following head of account by way of separate schedules by the Drawing and Disbursing Officers
by attaching separate schedules to the pay bills for the month of October, 2009 and in the case of
employees of the Grant-in-aid institutions and others, the amount so deducted shall be credited to
the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund through challans.

4. All pension disbursing authorities are also requested to recover one day basic pension from
the amount of monthly pension for the month of October, 2009 and credit the same to the Chief
Minister’s Relief Fund.
5. All the Treasury Officers, Pay and Account Officers, and Pay and Account Officers of
(W&P) shall ensure that the correct deductions are made from the pay bills/pension as above and
the amounts credited to the said Head of Account.
6. The Pay and Accounts Officer, Hyderabad, Director, Treasuries and Accounts, Hyderabad,
Director, Works and Accounts, Hyderabad shall personally responsible to ensure that full
deductions are made and remitted into the “Chief Minister’s Relief Fund” and inform the same to
the Principal Secretary to Government, Revenue Department., A.P., Secretariat, Hyderabad and to
the Principal Secretary to Government, Finance Department, A.P., Secretariat, Hyderabad without
fail.
